Title: Merton Surrey burial
Post by: sherrbert on Friday 18 October 24 19:48 BST (UK)
Looking for the grave of my great aunt Daisy Shaw ne้ Cole. She died on 31 Dec 1913 (Nelson Hospital) and was buried in the Parish of Merton on the 5th Jan 1914, having lived at 36 Hartfield Road for her 5 months of marriage. Her baby son George died on 27th Dec 1913 at 7 days old and was buried in Wimbledon Cemetery on the 8th Jan 1914. Daisy wasn't buried with George and as far as I can see, not even in the same cemetery ( searched D.O.L) which is incredibly sad. Would dearly love to find Daisy's final resting place, any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks All

FWIW, no Daisy Shaw amongst Memorial Inscriptions at St Mary, Merton or Sts Peter & Paul, Mitcham. I haven't looked to see if their burial registers are online in case the grave is unmarked.

Thanks Chris! After I posted I looked at the burial registers yet again, for any clues. Did a search on the Vicar who performed the ceremony and bingo he was at St Mary the Virgin, Merton. Did the same thing for Daisy's husband etc and all the different clergy were at the same church. Mystery solved. Thanks again.
