Title: HALLAM (Hayfield Derbyshire) family bible
Post by: Adnepos_Iacobi on Sunday 13 October 24 12:03 BST (UK)
I am looking for the family bible that was kept by Edgar Montague HALLAM (1865-1943). I think it was passed on to his daughter Mary Ellen (1898-1981) but I've lost contact with that line of my family. I'd be grateful for any leads as to its whereabouts, its contained births.

Anc* has approx 53 trees for the named person you mentioned. Not checked for any validity of info, except dob and place.

Maybe you would have more luck to enquire of the people with him in their tree, to possibly locate bible owner.

Anc* (and other published trees) is infested by trees that have been copied from others despite not being relevant to the person who posts it. As far as I can tell, none of the trees published are more closely related to Mary Ellen than me. I have been in contact with as many of the descendants of Mary Ellen's nine siblings that I have been able.
I've posted here in the hope that the bible is in the hands of a person interested in family history.
