Sorry for the delay in getting back to you all.
CAT ONE
That's the family okay, excellent, many thanks. There is one son missing, that would be Thomas Dawson(gt gt grandfather) who would have been in the army with the Cheshire Regiment. I see that 3 were working at the soapworks, wonder if that's still there today?, and wonder if ther is any record of the time james worked for the railways, or would there be none as he was a labourer?, anyway thanks for the info Cat One, excellent!!!.
Cheers for the address Casalguidi, nice one, much appreciated.
Peter, the marriage info on Margory looks spot on.
cheers folks you have given me plenty to work on.
much appreciated.
regards

Hi Jim (Whippit)
The Victoria Elizabeth Dawson mentioned in the 1901 Census is my Great Grandmother. She married a Thomas Stephen Bayley (A candlemaker) and had one daughter (My grandmother) who was also called Victoria Elizabeth. Unfortunately Thomas Stephen Bayley died young and Victoria Elizabeth Snr re-married.
My Grandmother moved to North Wales to work at the Royal Victoria Hotel in Llanberis when she was a youngster and married my grandfather, Douglas Ellis. She lived in Llanberis for the rest of her life.
My father would love to know more about his family if you have further information or photos....I'm working on a family tree at the moment, so will assist you in any way I can.
