Hi. Would some kind soul please do two obit searches for me? From the death indexes on Ancestry:

James Kelly b. 28 June 1908 d. 1973 Poplar, London and James Kelly b. 28 June 1910 d. 1976 Poplar & Bethnal Green, London.

It's possible one of these may be my great uncle but know nothing about him, as he disappeared in the late 1940s from his family.

If you know his parents names you can find his birth on the GRO Index that gives mother's maiden name.

Is your man the one born 28 June 1910 in the 1939. Living with a future wife and her family at
36 Gresham Road, Canning Town,Newham?

I can’t see the one born 28 June 1908 in the 1939.
So perhaps you will have to buy the 1976 death cert to see who notified the death for help locating him.
I don’t see an obit in any paper I have access to.

He was born in Ireland so wouldn't be on the English birth index. I have his birth cert where he was born in 1909 Tipperary but cannot find a death with the exact birth so it could be either 1908 or 1910 on the death indexes
