Hello
Here's number 4 signature from my 1938 RAF Uxbridge postcard - I can't make out the name. Any help appreciated.
Thanks

My first thought was J E Clay, but if so, he's messed up the 'a' and gone back to try to make it right. Or perhaps Cleary, though that would mean the letters are a bit messed up too.

I was wondering about May. ???

Hello - I've tried J E Clay and May with no success. I'll try J E Cleary.
Thanks

I've found a John Stephen Cleary with a service number close to the range I'm looking for. He's a possible.

John Eric Clay. I missed him on the first look through the images because it's so faint.
Thanks for your ideas and help.
