Good evening, I have what I believe is a battered "India General Service Medal" which was at the bottom of a bag of old coins I have.
Would it be possible for someone to do a look up for me on the recipient?.
The name impressed around the edge looks to be 44389100 A ROBSON.... GREEN HOWARDS.
Any help as always would be greatly appreciated, many thanks and my very best regards always.
Frank.

UPDATE;
Apologies, I have found him... ;D :)
Just need to find out any service details etc.
Thank you.
Best regards.

How sure are you about his number? It looks too high to me. As far as I am aware the issued numbers haven't reached 30000000 yet. Anyway, his service record will still be with the MOD, or in the process of being transferred to the National Archives.

Hi Andy J2022, I'm pretty sure about the number, I have added a photo, not the best, but will try again tomorrow in better light.
