Title: Relationship to Head on 1936 French Census

Sorry I didn't do much French at school but get Epouse, Fils - Wife, Daughter. But I can't read the next entry which is the one I'm interested in - Belle ????? - Step ?????

Belle-mere. Step-mother or mother-in law. It can mean either.

Actually, technically, it's both.
The Person concerned is the Step Sister of the Wife, which actually makes her the Step Sister in Law of the Head of household I guess.

fils = son
fille = daughter
