well, there isn't a parish that sounds like Embretch and the dates seem a good fit. The bad news is that the baptism & burial records from Amroth before 1785 do not survive.
There is a James couple who have a child Elizabeth baptised in 1787, Benjamin & Jane. They were married early enough to have James, but no proof.
Marriage in Amroth 17 Oct 1772 Benjamin James & Jannet Hancock - she signs as Jane.
Burial in Amroth 27 April 1816 Benjamin James 69 of Summerhill
