				Historical Burgess Rolls/Electoral registers:
Pre 1974 registers for Rochdale can be viewed at Rochdale Local Studies, for Heywood at Heywood Library and for Middleton at Middleton Library.
Burgess rolls – lists of people entitled to vote in local government elections. Burgess means someone who is an inhabitant of a town or borough and has full rights of citizenship.
May be available on FindMyPast.

Are any of the residents likely to still be alive?  Rootschat has a strict no living persons policy.  If any were only in their early/late 20's at that time they would only have been born in the late 1940's or early 1950's so could not be named here.
Problem with the ER's - they don't show ages
