I am working on an in laws tree and got back 10 generations on a couple of lines.
Rather than make a printed tree I am writing it all out as a booklet as it`s easier for them to read all the details.
I still need to make a basic tree to keep track of them all
Ancestry won`t let me print a full tree ,only bits of it.
I`m looking without much luck so far for a 10 g template that is free.
So far I`ve found nothing that will do.
Any suggestions or other ideas will be appreciated .
Thanks,

For my first few years researching I did not subscribe, I made trees within Excel.
Then I tried using Visio, and Publisher.
I have quite a few Family Tree Apps and none give the quality of chart I want.
You can buy a standalone Chart making App, S&N sell it and it is called Charting Companion.
No idea what it is like.
Now I screen capture and join them together in Photoshop and print out on A3, my Wife has a 5k resolution iMac so the screen captures are very good, my Win11 PC has a 4k monitor and that is almost as good as the iMac when screen capturing.

There is a free 10 generation family tree template from this site
https://templatelab.com/family-tree-templates/
Its a Word doc and uses words charting system so can be a little slow. But they have it in a few other formats as well it seems.

Thanks both. I will give the second suggestion a go.
