Hi all
Would someone know what the norm was for Kerry widows when they remarried in the 1800's. Did they use their maiden names or their married names? I know they used their maiden names when they acted as baptism sponsors or witnesses but wondered about whether they used them when they remarried after a spouse had died.
Regards
Chris

In most cases I have found they use their married names however I always tend to look for both just to be sure.
