Hello, I am applying for my Grandads Birth certificate, in order to apply for an Irish Passport, but on the form it is asking for his mother's birth name and his father's birth name, otherwise I cannot apply for the document, the details I have of my grandad are these:
Michael Fox
DOB 4th May 1896
Taghmon
Wexford
My grandad moved to wales when he was young, and when he was 15, he lied about his age so that he could go to war, He had 2 children from 2 different marriages, the eldest born was Terrence John Fox, and the daughter was Theresa Fox (later Morgan)
I would be truly grateful if anyone could help me discovering his parents names.
Thank you so much
Regards
Michael

Thank you @wexflyer , I am truly grateful for bringing to life my grandparent, great grandparents, uncles, and aunts, however I am wondering in you can Identify the residence at time of marriage on the marriage certificate as I cannot work it out :)
Again, Thank you so much :)

Sorry, didn't get notified of your reply, which I should have.
Anyway, the addresses on the marriage registration in 1875 are as follows:
For Patrick Fox, Sparrowsland
For Catherine Shea, Carrignaboola

For Carrignaboola, I can't see it on the list of official townlands. May be an alternate for Curraghnabola, which is an adjacent townland to Sparrowsland

Both these townlands are in the Catholic parish of Bree.

Many variations of the spelling of Curraghnaboola still in the area.
Catherine Shea, Sparrowsland was baptised in Bree on November 1st, 1853.
Parents Patrick Shea and Catherine Murray
