Title: George Bowman - Death certificate - cause of death - COMPLETED
Post by: Descartes46 on Wednesday 21 August 24 14:15 BST (UK)
Hi guys,

Is it possible to decipher what my ancestors cause of death was please? I can make out the dementia (1 Year) part, but struggling on the second part. Also, was he a sailor or a tailor? It's not clear on any of the census records.

Many thanks,
D.

Senile dementia, 1 year
Fracture of Thigh, 6 weeks

He was a tailor - if you look at the T, then compare to the S at the start of senile, they are different.
