Hi all
Looking for John Windley, date and place of death.
this is what I know: born in Roxwell Essex April 1764
married to Susannah Patmore 1784 Blackmore Essex
Susannah died in Blackmore 1806
They had 7 children (as far as I know). The last one (Ann) was born 1801 in Blackmore. So John lived at least until 1801.
So question is when and where did he die ? I found possible deaths: 1817 Blackmore and 1833 Blackmore. But since I don't have any suscriptions I cannot be sure if one of these dates is the right one. Any help greatly appreciated !
Thank you !

Isn't it possible, John is the son of Charles and Sarah Winley bap 26 November 1762 at Ingatestone Essex.
He names a son Charles and a daughter Sarah.
Ingatestone is about 4 miles from Blackmore. Granted Roxwell is about 7 miles away.
The 1764 Roxwell parents are Philip and Mary none of those names are given to his children.
What does it say on the marriage license?
-
The Essex Record Office has the License for the marriage of John Winley to Susanna Patmore 1784
Ref: D/AEL 1784/69
-
Comberton: I guess that it's not one of those two.
-
Amondg
Philip and Mary had 8 children. John and Susannah had 7 children. 2 of those had the same names as John's siblings (Ann and Robert).
Was it normal to name many more children after the grandparants or siblings ?
If Charles and Sarah are his parents I have to delete 4 ancesteral generations :(
PS I don't have the marriage license of John and Susannah.

If he is 23 when applying for his marriage license in 1784 then he was born circa 1761.
Charles Winley of Fryerning married Sarah Stebbing of Ingatestone 2 June 1755 at Fryerning.
Richard bap 11 January 1756 at Fryerning
*possibly more births
John bap 26 November 1762 at Ingatestone
Robert bap 21 April 1765 at Fryerning
