What information would be shown on a death cert c 1913. I'm trying to find info about the origin of my great grandfather who died that year in Tullamore and who is shown on the census as being born in Dublin. I can find a corresponding person in Dublin born about the right year but obviously don't know if the two are the same.
Any help or pointers appreciated.

Very little.
Name, age, location where died, and cause of death.
Name of informant. That is it

More helpful are marriage registrations, if you can find one. They give father's name

Also occupation.

Death certificate will most often list place of usual residence if different than place of death but anything on the registration depended on details provided by an informant.

Thanks again for those posts. I'm going to chase the marriage but it might only be registered in the church.
