I have found out that my grt grandfather Charles Wilford was born in Kilkenny (believe 1871) his mothers name was Margaret O'Brien.
He was bought over with his sister to England and left at dockside and someone collected them.
The 1901 census in England states he was born Bethnal Green. Cant find any other information.
I am wondering if his surname was changed, his mother died, who is father was, sisters name?
Any suggestions where to search would be really appreciated.
