Title: Edwin and Sarah Halliwell
Post by: SnowyHog on Saturday 27 July 24 12:47 BST (UK)
Hello,
I am looking for the burial place if possible of Edwin and Sarah Halliwell, Edwin appears to have died in 1875 age 61. I am not sure about Sarah.

One of there sons is buried in All Saints, Halifax, but they dont appear to be there.

Thanks in advance.

You really need to tell us when they were both born and where you last have them on census

Sorry about the lack of information.

Edwin Halliwell born Halifax 14/8/1814 and Sarah Stocks was born possibly in Huddersfield circa 1816.

Edwin's occupations where a Bootmaker and Police Constable.

They are on the 1851 and 1871 as I recall in Halifax.

Have you checked later censuses for Sarah to narrow her date of death?

Have you checked freebmd for a death?  www.freebmd.org.uk

Many thanks to all who have posted. Sarah's brother John was buried in Kings Cross too, but their Parents where buried in Rastrick, so it hasnt been just one place, but different churchyards/cemeteries.  I will applying for their death certs in due course.

That was very interest information on Edwin's job, which I only knew from the 1851 census return.

Many thanks again.
