Hi all
I have had a week off work and got out my book of old photos
This is my great-great-great-grandmother
Would love to have some help with enhancing and restoring the images
I have put these up before but I was hoping with the new tech and colour option someone who be able to assist with a go at it
Kindest
Justin :)

The dull colour one really brings the picture to life :) :)

My try on the second one.
One vintage and one colour.
This vintage style is so awesome - really goes with the style of the photo :) <3

Hi Justin, Its a long time since e had one from you.
Here is my clean up of Emily. It would have brought a better result at a resolution of 600dpi as it is a Carte de Visit and they are very small.

It has been very long. work has been crazy. So I have had a few days off and decided to open the photo album
Lovely clean up
My scanner is not very good
I should probably invest in something a bit stronger
Thank you so much

You are welcome. Here is the other one of her as requested. I have added a little texture for authenticity.

You’re welcome, it’s a fun training exercise for doing portraits.
AI helped a lot for the final rendering, let’s be honest. But the trick is to always check what it’s been doing and manually correct what’s not completely faithful to the original source, because AI tends to reinvent faces and get close but not quite to the model.
It’s crazy how subtle changes in the eyes, nose, lips, face shadows, can make a portrait look like it’s not really the same person.
In this case,it was good to have 3 different photos of the same person because it helped me figuring out what were her defining facial features.

Hi there :)
The AI results are so interesting and I'd really like to try it out sometime.
I would love to know which version is better/easier to use as I've only ever used Photoshop CS and am considerably out of practice at present.
TIA
