Title: TNA Records in AIR 19/755 Civilian Employees in the RAF
Post by: Paul J Ballard on Friday 12 July 24 11:21 BST (UK)
Hi,

Does anyone have experience of AIR 19/755 at The National Archives? Does it contain much genealogical data? I am researching my partner's grandfather, Kevork or George Kevorkian, who served as a Barrack Warden first at RAF Jordan & then at RAF Akrotiri when the RAF left Jordan. He also ran a bar in Heroes Square in Limassol. He was born in Amman, Jordan but his father Haroutoun Kevorkian was from Van in what was then Armenia (pre-genocide). Trying to guage whether employing a research agent might be worthwhile.

Many thanks,

Paul
