Post by: Gerry on Tuesday 09 July 24 18:54 BST (UK)
Records found indicate  Laurence Behan m Rose Murphy on 5 November 1854 and they had a son Richard, baptised in Lucan 13 Aug 1855 and a daughter, Anne, baptised  in Clondalkin 22 Nov 1857.

Grateful for help to find earlier history, in particular about Laurance, also Rose

Other records show Laurance's surname with spelling variations  - Behan, Besham, Baines, Baynes

Have you checked earlier Lucan registers for possible relatives? marriages usually take place in the bride's church so even if you don't find Laurence's family you might find the Murphys.

Daughter Anne's baptism also as Beahan-
