Title: French Immigrants - Passenger lists for French Immigrants from Nice

Afternoon.

I am trying to find out when GG Grandfather left ‘Nice’ in France something in the late 1800’s or early 1900s and ended up in South Africa, maybe Durban!

Does anyone know where I can start with this.  I do have some records that I have managed to retrieve re deaths in South Africa.

But not when he immigrated.

Also check the outgoing shipping lists on ancestry as he may have gone on an English ship.
