Post by: sarra on Tuesday 18 June 24 02:55 BST (UK)
My Heritage subscription finished a few months ago.
Does anyone know of any discounted subscriptions available.
I can see a few codes when I do a google search. Not sure if they are safe to use could some kind person help me, please.

I cancelled my sub about 2 months ago but they still send me e-mails offering me discounts. For the first week, they kept phoning and leaving messages, etc.

I'm surprised that they've not contacted you.

They phoned me, best if I say no more, I don't think I will be renewing but will I lose my family tree?

I would not pay My Heritage a bent washer for their lack of service and could not care less attitude.

If they were the only Genealogy website I would forget family research and take up knitting.

As you can gather I set very low expectations by My Heritage and for us they fail to meet those extremely low expectations.

Thanks for your help and replies
.
I just need to contact a person who has a tree on there.

Don't really use it that much myself.

Have just received and email from them this morning offering me 75% off.

That's about what I paid for it last time.

I will seriously  think about renewal myself as it has got expensive,  one sub has to go this year, probably at a toss of a coin, I don't use the sites as much as I used to.

My 50% discount year just ended. I thought it was worth a go at that price, but I found it pretty useless and have not renewed.

TBH there is so little useful (to me) new stuff coming online now that I've also let my Ancestry expire and for the first time in about 20 years I'm without at least one subscription or another.

I'll take a year out and see if any new collections or DNA advances excite me, but I think I may be done for a while.
