Title: 1831 Harrow Census
Post by: Alandal on Saturday 15 June 24 15:22 BST (UK)
My Wife is lucky to have found the attached 1831 Census, which shows her related Zachariah Stevens, Wife and three Children.

However there are four further persons stated above her family, whose Names and Occupations we cannot read.

Can anyone guess who they are ?

Thanks,

Al & Al

I think the one immediately above is Charles Stevens, a lo(d)ger. His occupation could be ---wright, but I can't work out the first part.

Arthurk, Charles Stevens was still with the family in 1841 his occupation then being a Track Distributor.

Mckha489, I did not see that name originally, but you could be right.

Thank you both,

If I knew what that was I might be able to make a suggestion for the first part of the word  ;D  (No criticism of you - I've looked at the 1841 image and it's pretty clear, and can't really be seen as anything else.) And now I look at it again, I'm wondering if the ending might be -iser  :-\
