Title: British Army field post offices 1939-1950 locations and assignments
Post by: Brewins girl on Monday 27 May 24 17:42 BST (UK)
I wonder if anyone has a copy of this book and would be able to check the locations of some Field Post Offices in May/June 1945 for me? I’ve tried to find a copy to buy but the only one available that I can find was prohibitively expensive. There is a copy at IWM which is not digitised and I’m unable to get there.

Is this web page any good?  It gives numbers and in some instances there is a gallery photograph

Having a quick look Rena I don’t think it’s going to answer my specific question about the Field Post Office locations, but I think I’m going to find it extremely useful in answering some of my other questions about the organisation of the military postal service so thank you very much.
