Title: Searching Recent Public Records
Post by: trevorwnz on Sunday 26 May 24 05:29 BST (UK)
I was wanting to search for recent records of my English relatives in public databases. What database searches are available for searching? I am in New Zealand so it's not practical for me to visit resources in the UK. I have found the 1921 census, 1939 register, BMD records and wills/probates to be useful. Information as to their children and where they lived would be helpful.
cheers

Electoral Registers are an option.

Electoral Registers are an option.

In 2002 we were given the option to opt out of having our names showing on electoral registers that are available to view by the public so it is possible you may not find people that you would expect to find online 2002 - 2024
