Title: Workhouse records search
Post by: adicol on Wednesday 22 May 24 20:17 BST (UK)
Hello,

I have located an entry for a Thomas James Jones born 1918 +/- 1 year, who is in the Glamorgan Workhouse Records on Ancestry, but I am unable to view the record as I don't have a subscription. Would anybody be able to transcribe the record for me please?

I am also looking for his mother in the workhouse too, Mary Maria, born c1895, who may have been admitted around that time too.

Please can anyone help?

Thanks,

Colleen

Mary Maria and Thomas were admitted 23 Feb 1920 from Rhondda parish. She's described as dest. wife (not sure if this is deserted or destitute). Both recorded as methodist
