The birth of Gwendoline Mary Akers was registered in June quarter 1904 in Cheltenham district, mother's maiden name: Barnfield.

Herbert Richard AKER(S) and Miriam BARNFIELD married 22 Mar 1896 in Oxford. He was 24, bachelor and grocer from the parish if St Ebbe in Oxford; she was 24, a spinster from Newport Monmouthshire. His father Richard Akers, grocer deceased. Her father John Barnfield, mason deceased.
