I am looking for information on the above named who won a Military medal for bravery whilst serving as a signaller in the middle east in 1940 with 7th Armoured Division.
originally from Gosforth, his parents lived in Chapel Burn Cottage, Low Row near Carlisle at the time of his award.
His sister Mrs C Scott lived in Monseaton.
He also served through the Greek Campaign and was with the 8th Army at Tobruk and was wounded in Italy on the 4 September 1944 while serving with the 1st Armoured Divisionsl Signals.
Any information would be welcome.
He also receiveed a Mention in Despatches for the Middle East.

Is this the right person - Arthur Chappell GIBSON - From Ancestry Death Index, 1989-2022 he died on 20 April 2008, last residence Newcastle upon Tyne, he was born 18 Oct 1919.
Modified to add:
In 1939 register Arthur C GIBSON with same date of birth with presumably parents John J and Sarah A in Gosforth.
Birth registration at Castle Ward Dec qtr 1919 Arthur C GIBSON, mmn WANDLESS.
A John James GISBSON married Sarah Ann WANDLESS Newcastle upon Tyne June qtr 1896.
