There's nothing much available online for WW2 military records

You can apply for copies of individual service records https://www.gov.uk/get-copy-military-records-of-service/apply-for-the-records-of-a-deceased-serviceperson

We are conducting a review of locations of birth for those that were at at the Battle of Jutland. So this might be slightly off topic for you but these we have found for those born in Malta.

Thankyou both ShaunJ & Navysparker for your suggestions. Both good suggestions to persue. Although it is those who served in the army I am trying to locate the list from the Battle of Jutland gives an interesting overview the  proportion from Malta who were involved.
