Title: census inNottinghamshire

Can anyone help me please if possible. my problem is when I find my ancester's birth and death and look at the census where do I find out which street/rd they lived on.
example: my gransfather lived at Fishpool now renamed Ravenshead in Notthinghamshire at 2 but not a name of road or street how do I find it please. Thanks for any information

  Would you be willing to give more information, so we can try looking them up? Name and age, and which census you have tried?

You need to look at an original scan of the census, not a transcript.
The street name is often on the top line of the sheet or a previous sheet.
Or an earlier entry to the name you are looking for.

Online Birth & death records will not give his address.  If you find a burial record that may give his address but not guaranteed.

As Tonepad says - you need to look at the original census image online to get the address - not just the transcript.  If you have a subscription to the likes of Ancestry or FindMyPast that facility will be available
