Hoping someone can help me.
I have a MICHAEL KOSCIELMIAK born 1924/25 in Peisern Poland.
I have found records that state he was a German persecutee in 1942-45 in Laub, Nordliingen and Regensberg.
Would this have been a concentration camp?
The only other information I have is that he married in 1950 in Leicester, England and died 2010 also in Leicester, England.
I have no idea who his parents are or anything other information.
Thank you

How does he fit into your FH?
His marriage cert should give his fathers name & occupation. His full birthdate should be on his death cert
Marriage entry shows surname ends Niak & christian name is Michal
2 children born 1951 & 1955 - have you contacted them for information?
-
There is a tree on Ancestry showing his birthplace as Pyzdry & his birthdate as 24.9.27
Have you contacted the tree owner for more info?
-
Yes all tree owners belong to my friend and her mother.
This post is on behalf of them. They know nothing.
I have no idea where to order a polish birth certificate from and friend hasn't got the marriage certificate yet
Thanks
-
What document did they get his full birthdate from? Where did they get his birthplace as Pyzdry?
Has the marriage cert been ordered?
-
No It hasn't been ordered yet.
There are some documents on ancestry that give his date of birth.
Its not allowing me to attach it for some reason.
Its a registration of foreigners and German persecutees 1939-1947

Yes - it's attached to the tree so you can view it there

There are only 3 trees for the Michael Koscielniak i want and none have the marriage.
I have got confirmation his father was Adam. But my Michael married Sheila Ball (aka Riley) in 1950 in England.
The other trees have another Michael Koscielniak marrying and living in America.
