Title: Restore and Date Old Couple Photo - Storey Side 2
Post by: clmagpie on Sunday 07 April 24 14:15 BST (UK)
As per my other thread, this is another photo I'd like some opinions on, please.

Just like the last, there's nothing at all on the back. The photo measures at 6cm by 10cm.

If any restorers would like to have a go, please do! I've seen how brilliant this community is. I'd appreciate if the features could be sharpened and defined if at all possible.

Thank you in anticipation.

I would think it's 1850s. I hope Jim will come on and give you more information.

This is another copy of an Ambrotype.
1850's again & possibly into the 60's.
Stovepipe hats were very popular at this time.
