Title: Tyne & Wear Archive
Post by: aussie researcher on Thursday 04 April 24 23:21 BST (UK)
Hello from Australia.

I'm currently researching Champion Druce & Co. Ltd.
There are several documents and photos at the Tyne & Wear Archive.

Being in Australia, it is a bit difficult to just pop over to take some photos myself.
Would anyone who attends be able to assist me? or know of someone who might be able to assist.
I know there is a £10 fee for taking photos, I'm happy to pay that and some.
Thank you
Aussie Researcher

Have you considered asking the Archive for copies?

Yes, and it would be nearly cheaper for me to fly over and do it myself.
The fee is equal to a one-way fare.
That's why I'm looking at other options.

You say several documents and then mention it costing as much as a flight, how long is it going to take someone to locate all of this information and copy it.

If the required order is placed beforehand, they will be there, ready to be photographed.

There are 31 x A4 sheets, 2 x A3 and 5 x A2.

I have photographed this amount at my local public records office in less than 30 minutes.

Thanks for viewing.
I will try to find an alternative to having this task completed.
