I've just had a new router installed but printer (WiFi) not working. Printer is several years old.
Is it time to get a new printer or do I need to do something else? Printer is HP Deskjet 2540.
Have to pop out for about an hour so will check back later.
Thanks.

No need to chuck your printer out. It will be a password/connectivity issue because of the new router. See if this HP troubleshooting tip helps: https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/ish_1736500-1626554-16

Thanks; a quick cuppa and a sarnie and I will try that. ;)

i had this problem a bit ago, I found that it kept trying to connect to the old wifi, and ended up uninstalling printer and re-installing as a new printer. Hope you get it sorted ok

Thanks for the link Andy J2022 but instructions need me to carry printer to router which I am unable to do. Will try mumjo's suggestion.
Thanks both.

After digging around found printer details; followed instructions and now......a working printer again.
