Post by: willow2670 on Friday 29 March 24 21:40 GMT (UK)
Please, would anyone know where I might find the marriage for George Healer to Esther Dawson 1846 Easington.

Cannot find it anywhere online transcribed. Hoping not to send for a copy.

Many thanks

Durham Records Online has a transcript for a fee; cheaper than getting a certificate from the GRO if you are happy with a transcript.

Hi
Online tree gives date 24 Oct 1846 and witnesses William Steel (brother in law) and Thomas Harrison frustratingly not the respective fathers.
But the tree does give George Healer and William Dawson as fathers ,so presumably they have seen the marriage record and it matches with  that.
William Steel married a Susannah Dawson at Tynemouth 15 Dec 1832.

ps Hester Dawson bapt 4.1.1824 at Washington d of William and Susanna Dawson collier of Oxclose would fit the bill for the bride

The parents names can be cross-checked on a free search on Durham Records Online, which confirms that they were indeed George Healer and William Dawson, and also that the abode for both the bride and groom was Seaham Harbour.
