Hi
The census gives James birthplace as Moreton in the Marsh
There is a baptism at Moreton
James Clarke s of William and Sarah Clarke 25 Dec 1840.
The family are on the 1841 census at Moreton on the High st William is a coal merchant 50 ,wife Sarah 46 and then their children-Harriet 20, Sarah 12,James 10 ,William 7,Elizabeth 5 and John 2.
William Clark did indeed marry Sarah Archer 5.11.1829 at Moreton in the Marsh.
