Title: Bourne family origins (late 18th/early 19th century)
Post by: Daltonator86 on Wednesday 06 March 24 22:31 GMT (UK)
Hello there. I am very curious about the origins of the said family, through my 2x great-grandmother, Hannah Bourne, who was born on 8 August 1825 in Derby. She was baptised when she was 18 months old on 25 February 1827. It appears her parents were William and Hannah. I was just curious if there is any way of knowing if William and Hannah were both originally from the Derby area of Derbyshire itself.

Hi,

I note that her brother Thomas born 1823 was also bpt same day and that their Farher William was a china maker.

There are lots of members of the Bourne families connected to various potteries in Derbyshire & Staffordshire who were of Independent Faith.

To assist more information is required, when where and who did Hannah born 1823 marry?

What Census information do you have?
