Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for blood relatives of Pte Francis Cox - Labour Corps - Reg No 115845 - died 29/9/1920 - buried Glasgow St Peters Roman Catholic Cemetery.
The Commission are in the process of producing a headstone to mark his grave.

Mother looks to have been Mary McGuire. Probable death for her in Bridgeton, Glasgow in 1948 at the age of 85.
Possible death for Francis Cox Snr, at the age of 68, in 1931 Calton, Glasgow. Mother's maiden name Gallacher.
Both parents also buired at St Peter's Dalbeth.
Youger brother John also died young in 1927 at the age of 29. Buried at St Peter's Dalbeth.

A lot of young deaths in the family.
Daughter Helen married a Edward John Humphrey in Calton in 1919.
She died in the Calton area in 1926, aged 34. Also buried at St Peter's Dalbeth.

Possible marriage for eldest Julia in 1911 in Calton to a Bernard Kiernan. Death in 1947 at the age of 57 in Ayr. Ancestry tree here for her www.ancestry.co.uk/family-tree/person/tree/175879385/person/132284266954/facts (logging off now but will send message to them in the morning about your post).
Also in Calton in 1920 is a marriage for a Margaret Cox to a Patrick Farrell. Can't easily see a death for her so far.

This has passed now, but I thought I might provide some info.
Francis Cox Snr (b. 1863) was the son of Patrick Cox & Mary Gallacher. He had quite a few siblings who died young. His father Patrick died sometime between 1876-1881 although I haven’t found a death record yet.
Francis Cox & Mary McGuire married 12 Jun 1890 at Manhattan. Mary daughter of Patrick McGuire & Susan.
I’m (very) distantly related. Patrick & Mary were married 14 Nov 1856 at Govan. Patrick is listed as son of Terrance Cox and Rose Ann Duffy—my great x5 grandparents. As well as Patrick, Terrance & Rose had Francis (d. 28 Jun 1905 at 30 East Rose Street), Mary (married John Leonard) and my great x4 grandmother Catherine (d. 1885, married Patrick Green).
Marriage record states Mary Gallacher was the daughter of Edward Gallacher & Agnes McGee.

Further to the previous messages,
I photographed the gravestone of Francis Cox recently. This was following a request on FindAGrave.
However, it struck me that the stone faced the wrong way.
I contacted the Commonwealth War Grave Commission and they agreed.
They recently arranged for it to be "fixed".
However, during this, the stone broke and they are currently waiting for a replacement.
