Post by: Poppy62 on Saturday 24 February 24 10:25 GMT (UK)
Can anyone help ?

My ancestor Barbara Bennett ( nee Angus) was a BOND WORKER  employed by Robert McNish BONDER.
What are these occupations?

I see newspaper ads from the 1920s in The Scotsman for Robert McNish and Co., Glasgow and London. They are for Scotch Whisky (McNish brand) so I’m guessing this is to do with a bonded warehouse.
