Title: Admiralty Engineering Laboratory & NETE, West Drayton 1970s
Post by: josey on Saturday 17 February 24 11:57 GMT (UK)
I have a photograph of the Laboratory building and a group of staff standing outside the main door from about the 1970s.

Also a photograph of the 1979 retirement of Mrs Watts and Mr Bowman from NETE West Drayton [not sure if it's the same place] taken indoors. The list of names on the back is Miss Elaine Curtis, Mrs Kay Watts, Miss Phyllis Cosby, Mrs Ethel Forsythe, Mrs Edna, Mr Ron Behenna, Mrs Ellen Watkins. If anyone is related to any of these, I am happy to send copies. Please PM me with  your email address.

your message came up on a random search. A Ron Behenna was the best man at my Father's wedding in 1941 and I have found that he was an engineering draughtsman at Devonport Dockyard at the same time that my father was. I have a nice photo of Ron at the wedding in Bath, and am just curious if your photo is of the same man?
Thanks
Anne

I'll try to extricate the photo from my 'archive'! I'd filed them away waiting for a response. PM me your email address and I will send copies when I find them.
