:( Chasing after George Hibbert in the 1851 & 1841 Censuses, its for my wife's uncle Ernest who is 96 years young, partially blind & he hasn't any info on his family, can anyone please help?
George Hibbert 1861 Census.
George Hibbert born 1821, Derbyshire, age 40.
Mary Elizabeth Hibbert born 1827, Derbyshire, (wife), age 34.
Elizabeth Hibbert, Daughter, born Manchester, age 13.
William Hibbert, son, born Manchester, age 12.
John Hibbert, son, born Manchester, age 10.
George B Hibbert, son, born Manchester, age 6.
Joseph B Hibbert, son, born Manchester, age 4.
Henrietta Hibbert, Daughter, born Manchester, age 5 Days.
Can anyone please help find George & Mary Elizabeth on the 1851 & 1841 Censuses, I would like to give Ernest a small family tree before he passes.

Possible marriage
December 21st 1845 Manchester Collegiate Church
George Hibbert , Porter, 10 Nightingale Street, father, Willuam Hibbert, Porter
Mary Elizabeth Brocklehurst, 12 Nightingale Street, father John Brocklehurst, Smith
Witnesses Esther Hibbert and Peter Watton?
-
I see in 1881 3986/91/12
George gives his birthplace as Chapel en le Frith. Derbyshire
There are baptisms there to parents William and Mary.
George Hibbert, 29th March 1821
Esther Hibbert, 3rd April 1825
Sarah Hibbert, 27th April 1823
-
There are earlier baptisms with parents, William and Mary, including:
Elizabeth , baptised November 1812.
There is an entry in 1841 census 184/book 3/page 1
Transcribed as Hibberd
William 60 yrs
Elizabeth, 25 yrs
Esther, 15 yrs
Residence Sandyway Head (I think), Bowden Lodge, Chapel en le Frith
Elizabeth’s age doesn’t fit though
-
There is a death for William Hibbert, 65 yrs, September 1842
Residence Sandy Way Head.
Added - a marriage for Elizabeth Hibbert, 1842 to Edward Thornhill
Her residence Sandy Way Head and father, William.
Esther Hibbert - a witness.
I do hope all this is your family and helps.
Much of 1851 census for Manchester was damaged.

I’ve checked the address given from the marriage posted by Heywood 10 Nightingale Street Manchester but they are not living there in 1851
-
As I wrote, much of the 1851 census was damaged and what has been recovered is available on Ancestry.
In 1841, George will be single and likely to be working away from home.
There is a George Hibbert, 20yrs working in Chapel en le Frith at 1841 186/book 10/folio 14
With regard to Mary Elizabeth Brocklehurst, there is a baptism in August 1825 at Hayfield, with father John.

With regard to Mary Elizabeth Brocklehurst, there is a baptism in August 1825 at Hayfield, with father John.
For info. a little more to above baptism 7th, mother Elizabeth, father John’s occupation blacksmith

Aaah, George & Mary Elizabeth's children were all born in Manchester in the 1861 Census, eldest child is Elizabeth Hibbert aged 13, so in 1851 they must have been living in Manchester not Derbyshire Doh.

I couldn't spot them here

I looked at the census records for addresses of your George Hibbert he and his family don't stay at one address.......
1891 census 10 Chapelfield Road (same add. on marr. son Charles Brocklehurst Hibbert 22 Dec 1888)
1881 census 91 Every Street (same address on marriage dau Henrietta on 31 July 1881)
1871 census 11 Ackroyd (same add. on marr son William 13 Jan 1872 & dau Elizabeth 31 Aug 1873)
1861 census 25, Stone Street
1851 census not known
1845 marriage 10 Nightingale Street
heywood mentioned about much of the 1851 census being damaged. The only suggestion I have to possibly find where the family were living in Manchester is by obtaining the birth certificate of the closet child to the 1851 census (ie John b1850 ). Hopefully that will give you a full address :-\
As previously mentioned at reply 6 - digital images are available from GRO cost £2.50. https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/login.asp
