I’ve just tried on my version and all is OK.

Can you explain what you are actually doing?

IE
Open family tree

File > Export

Select options

Etc

When I  go  to  file  Export  is greyed  out  not  available

Make sure you have the file you want to export  "open"  in Family Tree Maker first.
