Can anyone help me transcribe what the line below John Hampson  says. Also does the record belong with John Hampson Burial record ????
Burial record for John Hampson 6th sept 1764 Leigh, St Mary, Lancashire, England

Looks like John son of Samuel Monks Donington.

He is entered on the same date as I guess he was buried on the same day.
