hi , can a daughter access her parents adoption records if the parent died 33yr ago the parent died fairly young , if so how and where can she apply and what info will she need this is in the UK thanks

(Assuming England/Wales).....she can apply for access as a "prescribed relative".

I usually recommend starting by talking to the adoption services team at her local council who will explain the process.
She can also contact the Adoptions section at GRO for advice.
https://www.gov.uk/adoption-records
Both will probably tell her to contact an authorised adoption intermediary for help - she could do that straight away if she wants.

thank you i will get her to look into it

Does she know her parent's birth name ?
If she does she can just apply for a copy of that birth certificate.

dont know birth name just adoption name the birth parents are what she wants to know
