 I have do a dna test due to my family I Messing up  tree . And some of then have log in init to this account.  I do know I got a old account out there somewhere on here .


I'm try to work out who is my 3rd great-grandmother Mary Dart. Or  ( Hickman ) ?

Forget the DNA for the moment as that's just muddying the waters of your post.

Is your question about the identity of your 3gt-grandmother?

What part of which country are we talking about, so we can do some searches?

I can't see a birth OR death for Lucy Boden 1887-1952 on FreeBMD. This is your grannie? Was Boden her maiden name, or her married name? Where did she die, do you know where she was born?

There will be lots of other questions to come but let's deal with one point at a time!

How come I see Lucy mom ( Mary) keep record come under Mary Dart/Mary Hickman.  .
I have started over 3 time and keep the same information

Where are you seeing the name Hickman? It hasn't come up in any of the records that we've looked at.

You know that Mary's mother (in the census with them) was Louisa Dart, and (again from teh censuses) that Mary was born around 1856

Dec 1845: Louisa LAMBERT married Thomas DART in Stourbridge area.

Sept 1856: Mary DART born Stourbridge area, mother's maiden name (mmn) LAMBERT.

I can find several children from 1881 onwards born in the area with the surname BODEN and mmn DART. I think that Lucy had several brothers and sisters who died as babies. Are you looking for that sort of information as well?

What I can't see is a marriage from John BODEN and Mary, under any surname. In the 1911 census they said they'd been married 30 years, ie 1881 - which is when the first child was born. Can anyone else spot anything?

The Mary Hickman connection comes from some Ancestry hints which link to a marriage involving her and an Edward Boden
