I had a message from a new member regarding a research project some time ago.
I have been offline for quite a while and when I noticed it, I replied.
I have just attempted to make contact again but it says their inbox is full.
Is there a way to contact direct or can the Admin's make direct contact.
Making contact would be very important for both parties as it is regarding a research project that I have been conducting for over 15 years.
Any help gratefully appreciated
kindest regards
Nick

As they have only made one post you cannot use the personal message system. As you have responded on the post they should get an email notification.
I would leave it a few days to see if they respond, if not I would ask Sarah if it is possible for her to contact them

As I replied in May 23 and they were last active in September 23 they may not have seen my reply.
So it may be that I need a helping hand to make contact
Thanks for the reply

why don't you reply to their topic and they will see that you are trying to contact them.

They posted on my topic, which I then replied to.
I have been inactive for quite some time due to a house move but thought that my commenting on the topic would send them a notification saying someone had replied to a topic they are following. But not sure if it did.
So was looking at other ways to contact them.
They are related to a crew member of an aircraft I am researching so contact would be very beneficial to us both.

their notifications are set up to be notified of a new reply, you did reply a long time ago it is best for you to try again.

Ok Thanks Sarah. Will write on my topic again in the hope they see it.
As an Admin do they have an email linked to their profile? That could be used to send a message if they do not see or reply?

It is against our terms and conditions to give out those details, you just need to send a reply message it will save a lot of time.

Hi Sarah
I did not mean for you to pass on their contact details, that was not my reason for asking that question.
I only wondered if as Admin's you have the means to make contact on my behalf, that way at least they would know I would like them to contact if they wished.
They are a breakthrough after over 15 years of research into the loss of a relative of us both. I have been trying to find the families of all the crew of a bomber lost in 1943, without much success and they area relative of one

Hello Sarah,
I did not expect yours and others replies to be so prompt. I can well imagine that as an administrator you have plenty of requests to deal with.
I did expect at least a week or two before I heard anything but thank you for the swift reply.
As the sjeffery has not been active since Sept 2023 I fear they may have thought their search had hit a dead end.

My advice....
Reply on your topic again.
And once again next month.
After that assume they are not interested.
This is essentially a person to person forum and communication cannot be facilitated by moderators beyond a certain point
