Title: Thomas Owen Clockmaker Llanfrothen
Post by: clancam37 on Thursday 04 January 24 06:32 GMT (UK)
Found the attached in ancestry.com whilst searching for Thomas Owen, Clockmaker mentioning two Thomas Owen fitting my timeline.  Have already asked for assistance from Rootschatters  -- my apologies requesting further help and not including under my initial plea for help.

I believe Llanfrothen and Llannfordun  are both in Merionethshire so direct my enquiries here.
Any help would be appreciated to find information re this gentleman and his ancestors/descendants
and his history as a maker of longcase clocks.
Kind regards

We have a longcase clock by Owen Thomas of Ffestiniog (OT 1816-66). His two sons Owen Jones Thomas & Richard Bonner Thomas both became clockmakers. Bonner Thomas a significant clockmaker in Poerthmadog.
Is this OT your TO I wonder?
