Good Day..
My GGrandfather and his brother served in the 1st and 2nd Btn KOSB respectively..in WW1
Does anyone have any photos of the Btns, during this time ? Also my Ggrandfather was gassed at the Somme, is there casualty lists anywhere other than his SWB page.
William Watt, no. 18822. private, 1st Btn KOSB enlisted 05/04/1915. Discharged 01/10/1916 due to sickness.
James Watt no. 11338, Private, 2nd Btn. KOSB.. think he joined around 1912, he was oversees with BEF from 1914-1919. Prisoner of war.
Thanks

Findmypast has the casualty lists as does the British newspaper archive.
Both pay to view unfortunately but you can view 3 pages on the British newspaper archive FOC.
If you give names & dates & service number I'm sure one of our regulars will be able to help.
