I have a personally bound book that was owned by Mr F Ridlington titled Spalding in the 60's & 70's (that is 1860-1870) who retired to live in Pembury, Tunbridge Wells, Kent where my grandson & his wife & son live. They would be interest to know if he was still there when he died and was he buried there.

Died in Tonbridge RD in 1949.
In 1939 he was living at a house named Maplehurst in Pembury.
He was the first editor of the Spalding Guardian and there is a photo of him in the 26 September 1931 edition, page 3.

Thanks that answers my question, the book is all pieces from the Spalding newspapers in 1860's 70's and great interest to People of Spalding, He wrote his name inside the cover of his book his name, Maplehurst, Pembury, Kent. 5 Ap 40 and a photo of him and the house where he was born, now a Halifax Bank but about to close, he had retied to Pembury the year I was born 1939

Frank and his 5 Siblings were all baptised 5th Sept 1869 at Spalding Lincs,the Children of James and Mary Ann.his Death was announced as20 March 1949in the London Gazette as living "Maplehurst", Pembury.Kent.
