Hi all, interested if someone can advise of the cause of death on Elizabeth's death certificate. TIA and merry Christmas everyone

Might be Scirrhus (the pencil mark obscuring the final 's')

It means a hard mass often a complication of cancer,also in castration a complication.
The castration ,perhaps due to cancer  of the testicles.

P.S.This lady of course would not have been treated for cancer of the testicles,so a hard mass from another cancer perhaps.V.

I did say the patient was female so would not be castrated because of testicular cancer.
